If you’re reading this, thanks already.
Today I have a small, yet very firm, request to share as I excitedly take on more “office hours” and a heavier workload since having my second daughter.
K : LET ME SET MY OWN BOUNDARIES
As lovely as it is to see my PF4U Family giving grace to me during the postpartum period: this cautiousness of others towards my energy has me feeling all out of whack ♀️
Hear me out:
❌As a client of mine, it is not your responsibility to make sure I am leaving time in my schedule for you.
❌As a client of mine, it is not your responsibility to avoid asking a question, sending a text or compiling an email to save my energy.
❌As a client of mine, it is not your responsibility to take care of me or to accept less of my energy when you deserve it.
, :
✔️Communicate what you need when you need it.
✔️Ask questions whenever you’re curious.
✔️Book phone calls when necessary.
✔️Be clear about what I can do to help you.
✔️Let me help in whatever capacity I can.
As heartwarming as it is to see my PF4U clients tiptoe around asking or needing more from me lately because I “recently had a baby and didn’t take a lot of time off of work”: IT NEEDS TO STOP ✋
I pride myself on setting miraculous boundaries and executing solid self care: if I am working with you and opening my arms and business to serve you: LET ME SERVE YOU: no strings attached, no softness.
Please know, it is MY responsibility to ensure I can be a great business owner, coach and mom: NOT YOURS (and I say this in the nicest way possible).
So before I get more emails stating “reply when you can” or “only if there is time for you” or “I know you’re busy with the girls” or “I want to hire you but I know this transition is crazy”- THANK YOU, BUT…
I want all my clients to take ownership for what they need from me, speak up when they need it, and demand the best coaching possible: because THAT is how transformation occurs.
I’ll keep my boundaries on lock down.
You continue to speak up.
